Harvey homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Before Roof Repair Smedway was a name on a truck, our foremen were already up on ladders across Harvey, ND, figuring out which shingle brands actually hold their seal through a rough season and which ones just look good in a showroom.
Every lead technician we send to a Harvey property carries current Harvey, ND licensing and full insurance, and we'll produce that paperwork before you ask twice.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Every lead installer carries current Harvey, ND credentials.
Storms don't wait for office hours, so our on-call line doesn't either.
Every price is itemized, not eyeballed over the phone.
We already know Harvey's weather patterns and permit process.
Catching a roof problem at the "annoying" stage is almost always cheaper than catching it at the "emergency" stage.
The earlier one of these signs gets a proper look, the smaller the repair usually stays; waiting rarely makes a roof problem cheaper to fix.
Shingles shed their protective granules as they wear down, and a gutter full of grit is an early tell.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
Even a small missing section can let in enough water to rot decking in a single storm.
We split our work into specific service lanes because a wind-lifted shingle and a full system replacement need completely different crews and timelines.
These categories aren't marketing labels; they reflect how our crews are actually organized and dispatched across Harvey, ND.
Active leaks get priority dispatch — a temporary cover first, a proper repair as soon as the crew can get materials on-site.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
If your roof has an architectural quirk, we scope it personally rather than forcing a standard fix.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
A technician walks the roof and, when accessible, checks the attic side for the full picture.
An itemized estimate is delivered before any work starts, covering materials, labor, and cleanup.
Once approved, the crew completes the work to manufacturer spec and cleans the site before leaving.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
Crews based in Harvey, ND reach Harvey faster than out-of-area companies quoting a multi-week wait.
We'd rather lose a bid on an honest price than win one that grows later.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We've worked with enough local carriers to know what actually speeds up claim approval.
Our technicians explain their reasoning so you're deciding with full information.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
If you ever need to use the guarantee, the process is a phone call, not a fight.
We stage crews across Harvey, ND so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Harvey waiting.
When a storm moves through Harvey, ND and call volume spikes, active leaks get prioritized first while we communicate realistic wait times for everything else.
Coverage decisions are based on actual drive time from the nearest staged crew, not a fixed distance line on a map.
